Ramirez Tran Salon Branding — A Common Name

Ramirez Tran Salon

Ramirez | Tran Salon was founded in 2013 by celebrity colorist Johnny Ramirez and celebrity stylist Anh Co Tran. Located in Beverly Hills, CA, it is a carefully curated modern French inspired design, with high ceilings, marble countertops, and unique sculptural elements in every space.

The Logo

The logo became a mascot for the celebrity duo—we chose the horse as a symbol of power, strength, and beauty. The double horse as a representative of the duo.

The fonts were a mix of masculine and feminine, with thicker serifs to give it a modern edge. We created custom signage, embroideries for aprons, packaging, and branding systems.

The Website

The website was built to be a high-end, clean white match to the salon itself. I’m a huge proponent of letting the product speak for itself—if it’s good, don’t muck it up.
The client wanted photography to be higher end than their competition, and we developed a way to showcase the team of colorists and stylists that felt unique from other salons. Each member of the team is at the top of their game, and we needed to let them show their style and talent quickly as well as let clients book through the site and view social media/websites.
