Lost Los Angeles: Los Angeles International Airport

Made of 2,500 individually folded pieces of paper, this 43ft long piece was installed in one of the most traveled airports in the world.

Located in a glass case, it looked like an excavation site. It was filled to the brim with the paper geodes, to look like a cave excavated directly from the building itself.

 

Public Art

The public artwork was up for eight months and part of an LA City rotating art program.The work now resides with Smith, it is available for purchase or rent, while supplies last. There are 7 panels at 4ft x 6ft in size available. Email here to inquire.
